Offshore fishing looking good this weekend

This weekend looks like offshore fishing could be exciting. The fish are there. Two blue-water reports from Tuesday are examples of what could be waiting for big-game anglers.

Matt Feinstone and crew of Billfish out of Ventnor had 68 and 60-pound yellowfin tuna and leadered a blue marlin at Spencer Canyon. Feinstone fought and released the blue marlin and Bill Lacovara caught the 68-pound YFT.

Don Brown went out the same day with Art Strassler and Wrecking Crew. They started at Wilmington Canyon, where they bottom fished for 16 tilefish. They went to the Spencer and just inside for two yellowfin in the 60-70-pound class and a 70-pound wahoo.
